Fairfield Golf and Sailing Club

King's Rd, Audenshaw, Manchester M34 5FA, UK – 0161 370 0088

Ive recently worked at this venue as a wedding DJ, it's a fantastic venue, clean tidy; friendly staff, and amazing food! If you are looking for a venue for your event, this one is certainly well worth considering. From my prospective in relation to the accoustics, the function room is very long, so I placed extra speakers on the opposite side of the room to effectively create surround sound, and I would recommend other DJ's do the same to help make an enjoyable listening experience for your clients.

Great course, tricky greens.a special thanks to the Caterers who looked after us the sausages where very tasty Mmmm lip smacking tasty

Stockport Sport for All Centre

Basketball and netball centre. On the plus side my kids love playing basketball there; once on a team (also men's and women's teams) you can play matches approx 42 weeks of the year. But value for money isn't even - many teams are coached by parents who get persuaded to take a team, then are given little support and no training. Referees are trained but can be very poor in practice. Centre rules are unevenly applied, alot of unfairness. Business could be run much better. Toilets dirty and poorly maintained. No recycling, the hundreds of plastic bottles used every week go straight to landfill. Doubt things will improve as no local competition. If you love basketball you have to put up with it!

We go here for swimming lessons. The pool is a good size and always clean and tidy. The changing facilities are unisex, which is great for our little family. There's always free changing rooms and lockers.

Woodley Sports Bowling Club

Lambeth Grove, Woodley, Stockport SK6 1QX, UK

Woodley Sports Centre

Be prepared for plenty of walking if you don't know where you are supposed to be. It is a huge complex with many pitches. It gets very very busy especially on a Wednesday evening. The facilities themselves are excellent. If you don't know the area make sure you have a working satnav.

Only used the sauna but everywhere is nice and clean. Nice pleasant staff.
